Innovation for solid natural fertiliser analysis

The gold medal is given to the “OPTI-SENSOR: Innovation for solid natural fertiliser analysis” (see attachment). At the 2019 AGRITECHNICA, SAMSON was awarded a silver medal for the NPK sensor for slurry tankers now the time has come for the group’s solid manure spreaders to shine:

“We have a strong focus on R&D activities in SAMSON GROUP – our core activities are linked to optimising precision application and utilisation of liquid and solid manure. Our spreader R&D work is the latest milestone in this context.

A few years ago, we launched a spreader with the widest box on the market and with the newest precision technology, the SAMSON US 2-3. The development of the OPTI-SENSOR is a recognition of our spreader technology and underlines that we have spreader technology that is fitted to meet future requirements.

We believe very strongly that in the OPTI-SENSOR we have found a concept that will be able to revolutionise the way solid manure is applied on fields and we are all extremely happy and honoured that the committee of the SIMA Innovation Awards has concluded that the development is worthy of a gold medal, says Lars Henriksen CEO of SAMSON GROUP.

SAMSON GROUP offers a wide range of spreaders for which the new OPTI-SENSOR will be compatible. The OPTI-SENSOR is under development by SAMSON GROUPs R&D department forPICHON together with external partners (see attachment).
