In Denmark and Sweden, the products are marketed via the Group's own trading companies.
An important focus area for the company is scalability, industrialization, and standardization of work processes in SAMSON GROUP. We are looking for a person to be in charge in Viborg of the exciting but complicated process from the development of a product in engineering, product configuration in sales, handover to production and finally to result in serial number search in our spare parts database. The overall responsibility for engineering processes lies in France, so there will be dialogue between the two factories and travel is to be expected. You will be responsible for optimization and implementation in Viborg and in this connection have a close collaboration with the local production and development managers.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for the administrative processes in the development department as well as the cross-organizational processes towards sales, production, and spare parts documentation. Your primary tasks will be ownership of changes in the ERP system (Dynamix AX), BOM and drawing structures, product configurator and support for digitization of the production. The job will involve close dialogue with many employees, and you must be ready to set a direction and implement it. You will report to the engineering administration manager in France and the two of you will together set the direction for the GROUP.
Your qualifications
You probably have a background as a production engineer or similar. You have extensive knowledge of complex processes in a large multi-site/multi-cultural manufacturing company, which includes development, production, and sales. We expect you to:
- Be a trained engineer
- Has experience with project and general management
- Have extensive knowledge of ERP systems and BOM structures
- Have knowledge of complex product configuration
- Process knowledge of PLM system from user perspective
- Knowledge about digitization of a complex production
- Good analytical skills, good communicator, confident in setting a direction and standing up for it
Linguistically, you are strong in Danish and English orally as well as in writing. We emphasize that you manage people and projects with a good overview, seek opportunities and prioritize efforts where it adds value. In addition, you are energetic and have a good mood, are persistent and have attention to detail.
