SBX2 30 m (20-24-28-30) folded at 20 m
The SBX2 booms have ADS (Anti Drip System) as standard and are available as combi booms with 16-30 m working width.
With ADS, spilt manure on the road is history. The SBX2 booms have 2 distributors. The system is controlled with hydraulics and closes off the hoses completely, so that they do not drip during transport. Drip hose booms have a master/slave cylinder system which ensures that the boom folds in and out at the same time.
If used with the SlurryMaster 6000 it ensures automatic and intelligent control of all hydraulic functions when starting and stopping the spreading – the driver only has to activate one button.
The drip hose booms are fully galvanised and built with a trapezium suspension which ensures that the boom always follows the surface of the ground, even on hills. The boom is raised and lowered hydraulically, and when the boom is folded along the sides of the slurry tanker during transportation, it is inclined, so that the slurry runs back to the distributor and does not drip from the hoses.

All SBX and SBX2 drip hose booms are equipped with the ADS (Anti-drip system). During transport, the SBX-boom is folded along the sides of the slurry tanker and placed above the wheels, reducing its width during transportation.
All drip hose booms are equipped with a vertical distributor with rotating cutting knives.
The SBX/SBX2-booms have 1 or 2 distributors with a capacity of 4,500 l/min up to 14,000 l/min per distributor, depending on the pressure and flow.
The distributor on a drip hose boom has a stone trap to collect foreign objects. This stone trap can be mounted with a hydraulic slide valve that can empty the distributor before driving on the road and thus avoiding the possible spillage of slurry.

Optimal application of the slurry leads to an optimal yield
• The distributor and cutting knives inside it ensure an accurate dosage of slurry across the booms width
• Trapezoidal Suspension with the addition of a controlled override, ensures a uniform distribution of slurry independent of the terrain
• The dosage can be changed when driving, thus the dosage may for example be reduced in low-lying areas in the field where large quantities of slurry may tend to run down
